Directors cut and 2D vfx remake of this commercial for Renault. Our work involved retiming, rotoscoping and grade.
Scene breakdown
This commercial produced by Hobby Factory was constructed using three different shots. One with the woman getting ot of the car, one with the crane crushing the car and one with the crushed car dropped on the ground. Using rotoscoping we separated the elements in the shots and stacked them on top of each other in layers. Color and light was adjusted to match the base layer. The final result is shown above.
